The holiday season is among us! Now that Thanksgiving has passed by just days ago we are ready here in the Lehigh Valley to start celebrating the upcoming holidays. As a community who thrives on the small town feeling here is a list of what you and your family can do here in the Lehigh Valley this holiday season to get in the spirit.

If you've never been to down town Emmaus for this celebration this year might be the year to try! The town is quaint and tight knit, residents are wonderful and the area is a lovely place to live as well.
2. Lights in the Parkway.
This year will mark the 26th year of lights in the Parkway in the Lehigh Valley Parkway in Allentown. This light show is a lovely drive through the parkway with music playing along the way. Some of the lights are animated, and the kids are sure to love this display.
Visit https://www.discoverlehighvalley.com/events/holidays-christmas/lights-in-the-parkway/ for dates, times, and more details. As a new resident to the Lehigh Valley in 2019, my first experience with Lights in the Parkway was incredible and this is now an annual Holiday experience for my entire family, a new tradition.
3. Bethlehem, Christkindlmarkt.
If you've never been to what is fondly referred to as, " The Christmas City". Not only does this quiant town have this feather in their cap, but being in this town is comforting to many in a small town way. The Christkindlmarkt is only open from Thursday-Sunday's. Visit the following site for more information on times, dates, and details.
4. Easton Winter Village.
Have a hankering to go ice skating and feel the holiday feeling? You can do that and more in Easton this holiday season. The Easton Winter Village is open over the weekends and fun for everyone in the family. From shopping for your loved ones to teaching the little ones to ice skate, everyone can find something here. After that you can browse the huts for gifts and help support your local businesses, and finally check out the stage for the entertainment acts. Visit the website for more information. https://eastonwintervillage.com/
5. Koziar's Christmas Village
Although this is not in the Lehigh Valley, but in Berks; I'd be remiss if I didn't mention this absolute gem of a holiday event in our area. Since 1948 the Koziar family has been supplying many with the joy of the holidays with their now village, but then lights on their home. You will be amazed at what you will see when at Koziar's Christmas Village. See their website for details. https://eastonwintervillage.com/
